Folding doors

EAB’s hot-dip galvanised folding doors have long been much appreciated industrial doors, thanks to their strength, function and many options with respect to design. Every folding door is manufactured in Smålandsstenar and is made according to your requirements. Your industrial door can either be manually operated or machine operated, have different types of insulation and a colour that suits your specific profile. These advantages have made our industrial doors a natural preferred option, even on architectural drawings.

SOLID WITH FEW MOVING PARTS

EAB’s steel industrial doors have solid fittings, a high-quality finish and a solid construction with few moving parts. This gives the door superior durability with minimum maintenance.

MANUAL OR MOTOR-POWERED

EAB’s steel folding doors can be constructed for either manual operation or electric motor-powered.

A PROMISE WITH A 10-YEAR GUARANTEE

We know that our doors last and that they deliver what we promise. This is why a 10-year guarantee is always included regardless of the solution you choose.

Choose your design

Our folding doors are frame built from welded steel profiles in Aluzinc sheet that tolerates tough blows and can be realigned. The doors are manufactured with 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 sections. Where you can choose the solution that best suits you and your company.

Automatic folding doors with proven technology

Our motor-powered folding doors have impulse automation units that have been specially designed by DAAB for controlling doors, gates and barriers. Additional cards can easily be connected for traffic lights, gateways and limited opening. The machine operation is supplied prepared for connection to devices such as a pushbutton box, key control box, radio receiver, card reader and code lock.

Door leaves and cladding

The frames on our fire doors are comprised of welded, galvanised square profiles and are clad with Aluzinc or polyester lacquered profiled steel sheet. The steel cladding is screwed onto the door frame using our own special screws, which means that steel sheet is easy to replace if it becomes damaged.

From non-insulated to high insulated

Insulation is available as interleaved mineral wool insulation with a thickness of either 40 or 60 mm. For those who require a high insulation door, we manufacture them with a thermal break in the cold bridge and mineral wool insulation with a thickness of either 45 or 65 mm. We call the high insulation type thermal folding doors. Naturally, you can also choose a fully non-insulated solution with steel sheet only on the exterior.

Let the light in with a glazed door

Choose among one or more glazed sections, or why not even a fully glazed door for optimal light transmission. The folding doors are supplied with a D4-18 insulated pane, with a U-value of 1.1, which is fitted in heavy-duty strips of naturally anodised aluminium. Other types of glazing can be fitted upon request.

When function meets design

At EAB we create concrete proof every day that a durable and functional door does not need to be boring. With 50 years’ experience in door manufacturing, we know the art of combining design, function and durability. • Option 2: Hot dip galvanised door leaf frame with polyester lacquered steel sheet cladding as per separate range of colours.
  • Option 3: Paint treatment on hot dip galvanised door leaf frame and steel sheet cladding as per separate paint program.

Reference case

EAB was part of Smart Ytas establishment journey from the start. A journey that began nearly two years ago. Things moved very fast from there. Nine months after the first ground was broken on the first building the premises were sold and ready for occupation. The company has now built a total of three properties, each with 26 premises and an additional building is planned for. Therefore, for Smart Yta it was very important to collaborate with suppliers who offer high quality throughout the entire process and products that last for a long time to come.

Däckcenter in Anderstorp was founded in 1970 by Anders Åstmar, but has been owned by his son Henrik since 2007. They currently have three employees. At Däckcenter they also have a tyre hotel which currently stores tyres for some 900 cars. The premises were built in 1982, with doors from EAB, two manual inward opening folding doors with sheet plate cladding. The installed doors were unusually large for the time, 3.6 metres wide and approximately 5 metres high. Today, they have proved to be the perfect dimensions to also be able to drive in modern lorries, which are considerably higher than those back in the 80’s.
