Anionic Surfactant Analysis Standard
In the past, branched Alkylbenzene Sulfonate (ABS) was used as a surfactant for synthetic detergents. However, ichthyotoxicity (toxicity of fish) and environmental pollution became a significant problem. In analysis of detergents and/or environmental analysis, the concentrations of ABS in samples are strictly controlled. Our products are standard solutions for anionic surfactants of C10-C14 containing a branched alkyl chain. These can be used for preparation of calibration curves.
